About Food Sanitary Teflon Coating
Discovered by DuPont in 1938, Teflon is used worldwide under its brand name.
Most substances do not adhere to or stick to the fluoropolymer (Teflon), and even if they do, they can be easily removed. Its greatest feature is that it can maintain non-stick properties even with a very thin coating.
Teflon coating on household frying pans is an example of using Teflon's non-stick properties to prevent food from sticking. Approved for food use, DuPont's coating is very safe; even if the coating peels off and is ingested, the fluoropolymer itself does not dissolve with other substances, does not undergo chemical reactions, and is excreted from the body without any adverse reactions.
